Okay- it's been a few days but I had to get some pictures up from Ethan's birthday since I hadn't yet.
It was such a great day for him- not a ton of kids showed up, but most of the kids from our street came as well as a boy he knows from boyscouts. The magician showed up on stilts- HIGH stilts! I was glad he have tall ceilings! He came in for a few minutes and then went back out to get his magic bag and take the stilts off. At first, his magic tricks were very simple and all the kids thought it was pretty funny that he was so bad- he kept getting the answers wrong on card tricks, but after a few tries he would get it right. Well, this made the kids think he wasn't all that! But it was part of the show. After a few minutes he really got into it and did some pretty cool tricks (Ethan says it was real magic because there is NO way anyone could trick us that well!) He completely mesmerized the kids- I wish I had that kind of power! Then he moved outside and did some juggling which included knives and flaming torches! Wow, that was pretty cool to watch! I don't think I will ever be able to top this year as far as parties go, and I don't think I will try so he better remember this one for the rest of his life!
