Sloane's Spring Program
Sloane did SO well at her program! By this- I mean she actually performed a bit! Yeah! Maybe she will be 'the one' that actually does what they should on stage. Considering she is only 3 and was singing along- that's pretty darn good! I cant believe she (and I) have survived her first year of preschool. Only 2 more years left before REAL school :(

This is Allie- Allie is Sloane's BFF. Seriously! The boys have never made such a close friend at that age but Sloane definately has a 'thing' for Allie. She talks about her Allie all the time at home. She is worried if she gets to school late then Allie will be worried about her. Allie is very shy and doesn't talk much in school but she talks to Sloane easily- then Sloane tells the other kids or teachers what Allie wants. I am seriously worried about how much Sloane is going to miss her Allie over summer break. I sure hope her mom is up for playdates!

Ethan's latest
Today at school, Ethan's choir group went on a choir tour. They went to the district administration building, then to 2 nursing homes to sing. Then to a park for lunch. Sloane and I met up with them at the 2nd nursing home. They did a wonderful job singing and doing sign language for a few of the songs as well. I was recording a video of the event and had a perfect veiwpoint from the back. A little old lady came over and was enchanted with Sloane and insisted that I sit down in her seat to be closer to the kids. I told her no- it was her lunch time so she should go ahead and sit (we had been sitting in the car for 40 minutes prior anyway- I didn't want to sit!) but she insisted. I am sure you can hear our whole conversation on the video! LOL! So- yea, I finally sat because she wasn't giving up. I had a pretty crappy view after that darn it! But she was very pleased and I talked to her afterward- she was lovely.
Anyway- after the kids finished singing, they took cards to the residents and even went into their rooms to sing them songs personally and chat with them. The kids did not act nervous our weirded out like you would think they would in a nursing home with so many old/sick people. They just went right over and started talking! I was SOOO proud of all the them. They have such a wonderful choir teacher to have been able to coach them to the point of being able to do that. The people that lived there were quite delighted with the kids.
Cameron's last soccer game
Truth be told- Cameron did a terrible job at the game this past saturday. Spent most of the time on the field playing with his hands. Really though- the rest of the team didn't do a whole lot better. They knew they had trophy's and were too excited, I guess! However- if you look at these pictures it looks like Cam was rockin! I guess he was....for 3 seperate fleeting moments anyhow!
