The end :(

Bagel- well, Bagel has stopped eating even the best of things I can give her- she wont eat the homemade chicken and rice, she will eat hamburger once in awhile. Currently she is still eating hot dogs....I bought a TON of them for her. She has pee accidents all the time now, has alot of trouble using her hind legs, and just doesn't look good in general. The vet told us 1 1/2 weeks ago that she had a week or so left- Her kidneys just arent working at all anymore. the vet was right. We went and bought her a Sonic kids meal last night, and I am waiting for Ethan to get home from school today so he can say his final goodbye. She had a good 15 years and I will really miss sharing my bed with her at night.

AIDS walk

Ethan and I went on the AIDS walk this year in Fort Worth. We raised a great amount of money for the cause, and Ethan even went door to door in the neighborhood and raised $100 all by himself! I am so proud of him! We walked 3 miles and it was a perfect day. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

new phone

Well, I finally broke down and bought a smart phone. Oh my, I am soooo in love with it! It can do everything for me short of getting me dressed in the morning! It even has a barcode scanner!And Yes, I have used that alot believe it or not!

Happy Easter!

Jim is working an outage- nights again, so while he was lucky enough to be home on easter morning to see the kids, I was not lucky enough to have his help last night. I was a busy bunny- getting all the baskets ready, sneaking out the sandbox that the kids got, and filling AND hiding 60(!!!!) eggs in the yard in the DARK! Jim got off easy!
Besides the sandbox, Cameron got a helmet for his bike, Ethan got a spedometer for his bike, and Sloane got a Dora backpack!

Sloane was feeling better this morning, thank goodness- she was ready to hunt some eggs!

The hunt

We went to a egg hunt on Saturday. I didn't get to see Ethan because the big kids were in a seperate area from the little kids. I was hoping Sloane would have fun but she was sick and super clingy and grumpy so I just carried her around. Cameron did give her a few eggs and some candy though- what a nice brother :)

And they got to see the Easter Bunny! Ethan wasn't going to have his picture taken, but Sloane freaked out when I put her down, so Ethan came to the rescue.

School easter parties

Both the boys had easter parties at school. Cameron had an egg hunt and lots of food afterward.Ethan's grade didn't do the egg hunt this year but they did do some fun activities outside- like pin the tail on the bunny :)
