Ethan has become such a bookworm this year. He reads anywhere and everywhere. He has read a few books this year that are on a 5th grade reading level- I am so proud of him!

Sloane discovered the stairs! And she did really well climbing them...until we put gates up that is!Sloane was in bed with Jim and I one morning sleeping, then she woke up and cuddled with me for a minute, then fell back asleep....on my face! Can't say it was the most comfortable thing ever but it was really sweet.

sick YET AGAIN

yep- we went a whole few days without being sick so it was time again I guess. Cameron had been complaining for a few days that his ear hurt (he has one tube left in, the other fell out) I didn't do anything about it because he didn't complain much and didn't seem sick otherwise. Sloane had been well for a few days but night before last started back up with her nasty cough and woke up yesterday super grumpy (which she never does). The same night Cameron started running a bit of a fever. We went to the store yesterday and when Jim got Sloane out of the carseat he noticed that blood had been running down her ear and had dried. Well- both Cameron & Sloane have ear infections. The dr didn't see a tear in Sloane's eardrum but didn't see a cut on her skin either so we aren't sure where the blood came from- probably just scratched her self with her fingernails. Soooo both are on antibiotics, and better yet- so is Bagel. she has a lump on her head ( just one of those old dog things) but she scratched it and it is a bloody infected mess. To get it cut off would be $450 so I am hoping that the antibiotics will do well enough and that I can take that silly, annoying collar off sometime soon!
Poor Cameron ended up wiht a fever of 104.4 last night- and today it is down to 103. No fun at our house! At least Sloane seems to be doing better today- except when Bagel mows her over with that big collar around her head that is!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Friday, both Ethan and Cameron had valentine parties at school. Cameron doesn't usually go on friday but since they had a party I brought him in just long enough for that. He thought it was alot of fun to deliver valentine cards to all his school buddies.At school Ethan has been practicing writing letters in cursive. He wrote this letter for Sloane and it is so sweet I had to share it.

Yep, still sick!

Well, not all of us are sick still, but Sloane has yet a new bug. This time she has goopy eyes. I swear, she has been sick since October! I can not wait for spring to get here!

Well- we have all been sick for about a week now. Apparently it's the flu, but mostly it is just fever and some upper respiratory stuff. I ended up taking Sloane to the dr friday because she wasn't eating at all and hadn't had any wet diapers. She has since made up for it though even though she isn't all the way better yet. Poor Cameron had a 104.3 fever on sunday, but was better yesterday. Still had a tiny fever this morning but I am really mean and made him go to school anyway- Jim has been working nights (and sleeping all day) through this whole illness and I haven't had much help. I NEEDED Cam to go to school today for my sanity. Now if I could just get Sloane to stop being so cranky I will be doing great! Jim owes me big on his next day off, let me tell ya!
