6 weeks old!

Sloane is 6 weeks old now and she has grown and changed so much already. She smiles and once in awhile she coos. She used to scream like crazy in the bath but now she doesn't mind it so bad. Last week she gained alot of weight- she went from fairly slender to a chunk in a matter of days! I had my 6 week appt with the OB yesterday and it went well, except that he is referring me to another dr to get a biopsy done on a lump that I have had in my armpit since January. I am glad to be getting it done though because it has really been freaking me out. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

Summer

Well summer is almost here and I am even more excited than normal because our neighborhood ROCKS! All the families with kids decided to go in together and buy one of those cool inflateable water slides. Usually this thing is $600 but we have so many great neighbors that it only costs about $60/family! We set it up in our yard on Memorial day (our house has one of the biggest front yards on the street) and everyone played on it for about 7 hours! Ethan also experienced his first sunburn- oops! We can't wait for school to get out so we can use the slide more! While the kids were playing all the parents gathered under the gazebo thing and drank mojitos and margaritas and had a big cookout. It was great!

Soccer- Go Scorpions!

Ethan did GREAT in soccer this year! He enjoys playing goalie and defense. The team he is in this year is different than other teams/leagues he has played for- the team stays together forever, as long as there are enough players each season. That way the players get used to each other and the coach and it helps them play better as a team. We really enjoyed the team we were on this season so hopefully they will all stay together! Since we were a new team this year we didn't do so well- we finally won one game- the last one of the season!

Sloane is 1 month old!

She is still really happy except when she is hungry or has a dirty diaper. She sleeps for 3hrs at a time at night and sleeps really well during the day when we are running errands. She is really starting to look around and watch people more

Motheir's Day

I had a great mother's day! I got a brand new camera from Jim- something I have wanted for a long time now. We finally splurged and ended up getting one that was WAY more than we were originally planning to spend- oops! Oh well, hopefully many great pictures will come from it.

Cameron made me a card, and Ethan made me a card and gave me a flower pen that his teacher made for all the moms. I was nice and let Jim sleep in on mothers day- Sloane was awake and ready to eat anyway. So I went all out and let him sleep in for a long time, then I made him coffee too! I told him I can't wait for Father's day so I can get pampered! LOL!

2 1/2 weeks old

Sloane is doing great! She is finally nursing without a shield, except at night for some reason. She is also sleeping a bit better at night but only because I hold her ALL night long! It kind of sucks but it helps me get more sleep and right now that is all I care about!
My mom left the other day, but thankfully Jim has been off so I have still had help. He goes back to work tonight and I am very nervous about taking care of all 3 kids- especially for bedtime and waking the kids up in the morning for school all the while taking care of the baby.
My neighbor had her baby girl yesterday- I am so excited that Sloane will have a buddy right across the street that is only 2 weeks younger- it will be so much fun!
Cameron is finally being less grumpy but still does not want to go to school and he is throwing alot of tantrums, but at least he is being less needy. He does love his sister though- his eyes light up every time he looks at her, and if he doesn't know where she is when he comes in the room, he gets worried. Ethan can't stop kissing Sloane, and he HAS to hold her every morning before school and the second he gets home from school. I am so glad he has come around.
