36 weeks
Well, I had my OB appt today- it went very well besides the fact that we waited almost an hour before being seen, but oh well. I was still 1.5 cm dilated but I am now 60% effaced! Interesting times lay ahead! I really really want to hold out till about April 10th but I have a strong feeling it will be sooner (maybe much sooner) than that. Ethan is horrified at the idea of having to share his birthday- so hopefully THAT doesn't happen! Next week won't be great either because my OB will be out of town the entire week. I told him that surely that is when I will have the baby just because he had to go and leave me!

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter! The kids slept in this morning and we finally had to go wake them! They loved their easter baskets and their new shoes. Then they went on an easter egg hunt. Usually the Easter bunny hides the eggs outside, but this year he hid them all around the house- the kids had fun finding them and Cameron even did a pretty good job! Now they have eaten most of their candy and probably wont be wanting any lunch today!
False alarm
Well, finally took a trip to labor and delivery- my water didn't break. I was 1 1/2 cm dilated though- so a tiny bit of progress. I am just glad there won't be an Easter baby!

off to the hospital
Well, I think I am going to head to the hospital some time today. I think my water may have broken last night- just a slow leak. Either that or a certain little girl was playing mean tricks with my bladder- which could totally have happened! Anyway contractions are currently between 5 & 10 minutes apart and I am crampy. I really hope that this isn't the real deal because tomorrow is Easter- what in the world will the easter bunny do if we are at the hospital all night???

Baby's room
35 weeks!

The pictures above are taken at 25 weeks, 29 weeks, and 35 weeks
Yep, I am 35 weeks pregnant today! I feel huge and uncomfortable but I don't think I look very big- I am sure I was quite a bit bigger at this point with the boys. Baby girl is posterior (forward facing) so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't know how much longer I am going to last- I have been to the hospital once to have them stop labor- that was at 32 weeks. They calmed down a bit but the last few days it seems the contractions are back, a bit more regular, and a little stronger than before. I honestly don't think I will last much longer- I think the baby wants out!
Last night all our neighbors got together for a night out- they rented a limo bus and everything. Jim and I were excited to go but just a couple of days ago, they changed Jim's schedule and he had to work. I was still considering going- it would be the last time I get to go out before the baby comes afterall! But night before last I was having contractions 3 minutes apart for awhile. They did slow down, but I was still thinking that the baby is coming soon! So, I had to cancel- but I still went over to one of the neighbors houses for potluck dinner before they all left. They are such a fun group of people and I am so happy we have them in our life. They were all worried about me- making sure I had everyones phone number in case something happened. They thought it would be fun if I took a limo ride to the hospital:) Thankfully nothing happened last night though!
I have started packing my bag though, and I need to run to the store today to grab a few things that I will need to take with. I need to get it all done before it's too late!
Spring Break!
Well, it's now officially spring break. The weather has been nice some days and cold others- hopefully this next week will be nice so the kids can play out! Easter is in 1 week. I can't believe it is so early this year. I bought some eggs so maybe we will decorate them in the next couple of days.
Yesterday was Ethan's second soccer game- he did fabulous! He blocked the ball when he needed to and he chased the ball when he could. The only thing he could really use some work on is running faster-then he could chase the ball a bit better and maybe even get a goal. Not bad to only have that one thing to work on! Poor Jim didn't get to see the game because he is working an outage. Hopefully he will get to see the next one though!
